My Review of the Perseus Jackson Series

Right now I'm rereading the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series (for about the sixth time) I've decided I should maybe do a review on the series.
Percy Jackson is a teenage boy with ADHD and dyslexia, he's gone to school 11 years and been kicked out of 11 different schools for either destroying some National monument our blowing a school-bus into a hunk of scrap metal.
One day he finds out that half of his blood is the blood of Olympians (Poseidon's to be exact), and that the other half is mortal blood, from his mother Sally Jackson.
One of the things I really like about this series is how well Rick Riordan is able to explain how the Greek Gods could fit into 21st century living.
I would give this book an arsenal of thumbs up!!

My Book Review of Brisingr

Not that I'm exactly branching out from my usual palette of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and occasionally mysteries, I enjoyed this book very, very much. It was on of my favorite books of the year.
It was jam-packed with action, adventure, and suspense.
My Favorite chapter was when Eragon forges a sword with Rhünon, the elf smith who swore never to forge another blade.
This was definitely Christopher Paolini's best work. Brisingr is the third book in the Inheritance cycle, Enjoy!!
